What a lovely place to stay. We had a junior suite overlooking the courtyard and the town. It was a perfect blend of old and new worlds. Antique furnishings, modern bathroom and bed. It was very comfortable. We tried to book a table in the restaurant, but they were booked solid. Luckily the receptionist managed to get us a table. The food was good and the wine was delicious. A very gracious host was also the waiter. In all, this is a great place to stay and it is close to Seiffen.
This is a charming place. We got the best room in the castle the suite and the room was big and beautiful. The whole castle is adorable. They have a sauna and pool then the big hall room where you have breakfast. Some of the staff was not friendly but the place was amazing. Highly recommended. Now the restaurant is underwhelming at best. Beautiful place but the service is terrible.
Our experience was absolutely perfect despite going for the cheapest option. The room was perfectly good, the location was gorgeous and the food was amazing. Partner has a gluten allergy and they happily made some adjustments to the food to account for that, so all considered I would totally recommend the place. The garden was not particularly well cared for, but to be honest I loved the natural feel rather than the perfectly manicured feel of most tourist castle gardens. Only negative I feel the need to point out is that a part of the court yard was fenced off with ugly construction work fences and here and there you could find signs that certain things would benefit from a bit more money and care, but they clearly prioritized all the important things and from my point of view this wasn't an issue at all.
