Schlosshotel Schkopau

It’s been over 10 years but our stay here is still a top experience in our travels. It’s a beautiful castle in a very quiet and lovely town. The rooms were lovely. The grounds were well kept, peaceful and welcoming. The staff were all friendly and professional and the wedding we were there to attend was simply incredible! I would happily return one day if I’m able.

Very charming castle, kept in style, renovated with attention to details. The town or the closest surroundings are not too special but castle itself is. Guests can visit the tower if ask for the key at the reception. Communicating with staff is difficult because rhey are poor in English. Breakfast was excellent, bar area average.

In May 2024 i visited this Hotel. Very nice location, nice big room, Restaurant was not for visiting a second time but in the service I'm very disappointed. I forgot my jacket, the Hotel found it, i asked to send it to me, the costs were Eur 17,- I paid, but never received my jacked. Ok, maybe stuck in the post company? I have sent several mails to the Hotel again...no answer...nothing. To this hotel i go never again. For new guests: Please don't forget your clothes....
