The staff are friendly and professional. The cost is good. The exercise room and sauna are great and there are e-bikes and regular bikes to rent/ride. Loved it.
We were looking for a peaceful escape, and the Schlossparkhotel Mariakirchen delivered. The hotel offered a unique blend of old-world charm and modern comfort. Loved the option of staying in the palace. We especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast buffet and the opportunity to dine at the hotel's restaurant and sample their own brewed beer. The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area. Highly recommended!
This hotel does not have AC in all rooms, even though it says so here on Google and the hotel shows up on Hotels.com when you filter on hotels with AC. Also, it does not have a pool - I think it used to, but it has not been maintained so now they call it a "natural pond" but it's really just algae ridden water. For these reasons, we were disappointed and checked out immediately after some arguing with the general manager (who correctly argued that the information on the hotel's own website is accurate. It's just Google and Hotels that have the wrong info). But I think, as long as you don't expect pool or AC, this hotel could be good!
