School Lane Hotel in Liverpool ONE

This is a brilliant hotel. Perfect location - right at the heart of everything the city offers, yet so quiet at night. The reception staff were so helpful and professional. The shower in our room was so so good. This was also a vegan friendly hotel, with complimentary toiletries all suitable. The reception area has a chiller cabinet where you can buy vegan friendly white,rose and red wine, and beer, and in the morning they serve complimentary pastries (not vegan).....if you ask reception, they will provide a vegan raspberry croissant! Just loved staying here and will definitely be back.

What a little gem of a hotel! Rooms were comfortable, light, airy and clean. All the staff we met were welcoming and friendly from the reception desk to the cleaners and maintenance people. 24 hour reception desk. Free coffee and pastries in the morning were all fresh and delicious. Location is right on the centre of Liverpool One (beside Hotel Chocolat - yum!). Can't wait to stay again (but keep it to yourself, it's a well-kept secret!!!)

10/10 experience!! Would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Liverpool. We chose this hotel to celebrate our anniversary, and the staff went above and beyond for the occasion. They even left us a sweet note and a bar of chocolate (hands down the best I’ve ever had!). The hotel was spotless. It was genuinely the cleanest place I’ve stayed in the UK. The room was exactly like the photos online. The room was not huge, but spacious enough and had everything we needed like a kettle, iron, WiFi, and even Netflix and Disney+ ready to go on the TV. Location was spot on. Everything we wanted to see/visit was within walking distance, so no need for taxis. We drove in and got 20% off parking at Q-Park just a few minutes away, which was really handy. Breakfast was simple but lovely. The hotel offers complimentary pastries with tea, coffee, and hot chocolate. A nice touch to start the day. Only downside was the surprise £50 deposit on check-in. We got it back without issue, but it would’ve been nice to know in advance (might’ve missed it in the booking confirmation email to be fair). All in all, a perfect little city break. Great service, clean rooms and ideal location. Couldn’t have asked for more.
