The updated rooms are beautiful and comfortable. The hotel seems like it would be wonderful for families with children.

We stayed at the Schwaben Hotel as a family of four and were absolutely thrilled. The hotel is modern, clean, and even has a small pool – ideal for a quick dip. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Our family room with a balcony was spacious and cost under €250 – including two days' admission to Schwabenpark for everyone. A real bargain these days! The breakfast buffet was excellent – ​​plentiful, fresh, and just what you'd want for a good start to the day. We had mixed feelings about dinner in the hotel restaurant: roast beef with onions, schnitzel with fries, and nuggets were very popular with our wife and children. My personal favorite – the Swiss sausage salad – was a bit too sweet for my taste, and the portion was quite small. Perhaps I misunderstood the "small appetite and salads" category. Overall, the restaurant was still okay. After two wonderful days, we're now heading home completely satisfied and delighted. A definite recommendation for families – we'd love to come back. Thank you very much!

We ordered four dishes at once – and then waited 1.5 hours before even three of them were served. All the guests around us who arrived later received their food well before us. Despite repeated inquiries, we were repeatedly put off, but nothing happened. The fourth dish, a simple salami pizza, still hadn't arrived after more than two hours. We followed up several times – until I was finally asked what I had ordered. After another 30 minutes, I announced that I didn't want the pizza anymore and that we wanted to pay. It arrived just four minutes later – but by then it was clear to us: We were leaving. The children were tired, and our patience was running out. I offered to have the pizza wrapped – but even that was ignored. (Most likely, it was thrown away instead). No one came with the bill; no one felt responsible. I turned to the restaurant management and explained the entire incident. The waiter was standing behind me, and I was referred back to him. The pizza wasn't wrapped and wasn't given to us. We paid and left. One waiter at least apologized – the other and the restaurant management clearly didn't care. This is absolutely unacceptable. Today was a truly miserable experience – chaotic, disrespectful, and disappointing. Unfortunately, I can't recommend the restaurant at all. We definitely won't be coming back.
