Schwan Locke

I stayed here twice for two weeks each and had a very good experience both times. The location is excellent—steps from Theresienwiese U-Bahn and within walking distance of München Hbf. Rooms are well designed and well maintained, with handy amenities like a kitchen/kitchenette and laundry facilities. Check-in and check-out were fast and well handled. I’ve heard mixed opinions about the neighborhood, but I felt comfortable walking around and had no issues. Overall, a great stay and I’d happily return. Two suggestions: offer housekeeping more than once a week (every other day would be ideal) and provide a daily complimentary coffee or tea.

We really enjoyed our 5-night stay at Schwan Locke and would definitely stay there again. The communication was excellent, and it started even before we arrived. The rooms are spacious and the kitchenette facilities are really nice. There are lots of other little perks offered, including laundry (and soap!), a fitness center, a bar, and breakfast (for an extra charge). Everyone we encountered was always super helpful and friendly. We loved it!

Unquestionably a marvelous apart-hotel! The decor, design, layout, and amenities (including a gym and laundry room on the lowest floor) were all on point. The bed was comfortable, and there were plenty of drawers and cupboards for storage of clothes. A lovely balcony and a versatile window that could be opened in multiple ways added to the charm. The bathroom was top-notch, with thoughtful attention to detail—even a magnet to cover the oven’s flashy and bright clock! We also greatly appreciated how easy it was to cast any streaming service from the phone directly on the TV. Dogs are warmly welcomed—we even received a delightful selection of treats and toys for ours, which was such a sweet gesture. We will definitely be back! Pro tip: upon checking in, do review all the offered services, so as to not miss on them!
