Schüle's Gesundheitsresort & Spa Erwachsenenhotel

Great SPA Hotel close to a Ski area in Oberstdorf. The service was excellent, the food delicious and the SPA had everything needed: a well stocked gym, a warm pool, a Finnish sauna and a hot steam bath, and more! The rooms were clean and had everything needed. The heater was however a bit on the high side and was not able to set lower. Still I would like to go back and I recommend it!

Great location, beautiful garden with a great view of the mountains. Like the whole of Oberstdorf, this hotel seems in a state of slow change to attact a younger crowd without loosing their large 60+ customer base. When I was there, the hotel entrance was under construction. Inside, a lot of the main hotel seems stuck in the late 1980 with a traditional Algäu touch (thier is a more recently build or renovated part of the hotel). The same was true for my room, best noticeable in the bathroom. Don't get me wrong, nothing looks run down, the upkeep is perfekt, just from a different time. The spa is divided into three separate Spas (naked area, clothed area and lady's spa) - again with an 80s regioal feel to it. The pool is large enough to actually swim 🤗. Breakfast for a ****S Hotel is rather small and does vary with only one dish of the day. All food is fresh and yummy, but I would appreciate more change. I personally like to pick my table - but that's just me. The service is very friendly - especially in the breakfast room. I loved the person, who greeted me in the morning and showed me to my table - so much energy, so happy and friendly, it made me smile. So would I go back? Probably not because I appreciate more modern hotels. Would I recommend the hotel to friends? Definitely!

This is truly a shining star in Oberstdorf: every single service staff was warm and hospitable, and a big shout out to Joshua who was ever so helpful. The generous breakfast buffet in the restaurant, the awesome alpine views and the spa facility in the basement made this a real value-added treat in the winter ! Wünderbar ! Ich mag dieses Wellnesshotel wirklich sehr gern 😍 Ich muss wiederkommen!!
