Scilla Maris Charming Suites Restaurant

Amazing hotel, beautiful room and pool and a very nice host and hostess. Amazing place to stay if you like peace and quiet and close to nearby towns. Also I’m allergic to some laundry detergents and they were nice enough to let me feel the sheets before booking the room. 10/10

We had an excellent stay at Scilla Maris. It’s a small hotel run by a couple, Ilaria and Raimondo, and their staff who are very hospitable. There are ~10 rooms and a nice pool with plenty of space to lie down or to do a few laps. The rooms are a good size and kept clean. There's everything you need: a safe, fridge, sky TV, a terrace to sit on etc. Breakfast is simple but very good although not cooked except scrambled eggs. There was plenty of local fruit, yoghurt, pastries, cannoli, cold meats, cheese etc. The restaurant isn’t open to non-residents currently but on an ad hoc basis we had dinner on three of the evenings. The dishes were limited to a few suggestions and mostly seafood. They were all very good dinners. Otherwise we went out to recommended restaurants in Marzememi and Pachino. For this hotel you need a car, it’s up a gravel drive and several kms from a town. But it's a very good quiet location. Nearby are lots of opportunities for sunshine, great beaches, nature reserve walks, a nearby small town, Marzememi, by the water with lots of restaurants and Noto is nearby with lots to see and eat. We definitely recommend the hotel and areas.

Great spot, windy so it ain't too hot. We had a blast. We rented the 10 rooms for 3 nights with a group of friends. Had great food. A pool party. The owner, Raimondo, couldn't have been more accommodating. Same goes for the chef and staff. We had an amazing time and would highly recommend the place.
