This B&B was one of the highlights of our family vacation! Such a cute property! Everything was comfortable and welcoming. Every staff member we interacted with was extremely friendly and kind. My kids loved feeding the chickens and watching the llamas. My favorite was the fresh baked cookie at check in! I can’t recommend this place enough! We didn’t want to leave!

We had a wonderful family vacation with my teens. I appreciated there was no TV, but it didn't stop our kids from accessing their phones. Loved all the details: wonderful daily and thoughtful breakfast - they think of everything you need, cute in room furniture, overall decor of the grounds and shrubbery, abundant tea hot stations, wonderful and attentive server at the restaurant our 1st evening when the tables were packed and friendly service at the front desk during checkout. They are also dog friendly. Our Yorkie was very happy. Our kids loved feeding the chickens and seeing the llamas.

Ambitious in price but lacks in delivery. Firstly, the good stuff: - Hotel under the ambience of a farm is quite charming. Starting one’s day by feeding the chicken, walking around the veggie bed and checking llama pastures is definitely enticing. - Nice proximity to the beach. The short 10 minute trail was also nice with a cozy reveal through thick canopy of greenery at the end. - Close to the Mendocino town (under 7 minute drive) and Fort Bragg (under 25 minutes drive). - The Tesla charging stations were very convenient. Really helped me keep EV charging out of my route planning with my Rivian. - Service: The staff of the hotel were really nice. Be it setting up for late check-in or helping me with cutlery or information, they were very welcoming. One of the member also did a custom lavender bouquet in 5 minutes when she found out it was my wife’s birthday during our checkout. Now for the things I was underwhelmed: - Price: I paid over $500 per night. For that price I was extremely disappointed. I booked last minute and got the last room in the hotel, so I understand this could be an outlier, but my review will be according to the price I paid. - We got an accessible room. While I understand it was created with a purpose, it just wasn’t suitable for us. It was located in the ground floor and we could constantly hear the steps and noise from the floor above. The toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, hairdryer) were placed above the Toilet bowl which is not close neither to bath nor vanity. The entire setup just didn’t work. - Breakfast: Hotel markets as complimentary breakfast. Upon arrival, they said they do in-room delivery based on some preferences (drink, dietary restrictions) to the room. While the breakfast basket looked fancy, it was very very lackluster in practice. First, the portions were small. When outdoors, I strive for heavy breakfast to accommodate activities planned. However, I was left wanting more with portions lesser than that of kid’s plate. Adding to that, since it was hotel’s choice, there weren’t even basic fillers like bread toast / cereals. - Lastly, I wasn’t greatly impressed by the town itself. It was probably an ok town to spend a weekend, but somehow still didn’t suit me this time.
