This hotel does not even deserve a single star when it comes to rooms and services. I strongly urge prospective travellers to look elsewhere. Tajpur offers other accommodations where your money, time, and trust will not be so sorely wasted. The rooms were poorly maintained, lacking basic cleanliness and comfort. The air conditioning barely functioned, and several electronic amenities were either dysfunctional or outdated. The service was unprofessional and inattentive, with little regard for guest comfort or hospitality standards. The food served was very mediocre, lacking both variety and taste — a far cry from what one would expect at such a steep price point. To make matters worse, not even a biscuit was provided with the tea, which itself arrived in a cup that shockingly contained a noticeable amount of dishwashing soap. This was not just unpleasant—it was unhygienic and unacceptable. Every aspect of the stay felt like a compromise, except the bill — which was shockingly high for the quality provided.

Absolutely the Worst Experience "Nightmare Stay - Misleading Information and Fraudulent Practices at Sea Bird Resort & Restaurant, Tajpur" My family (myself, wife, 4-year-old daughter, and mother) had the misfortune of staying at Sea Bird Resort & Restaurant in Tajpur from April 12th to April 15th, 2025, and it was unequivocally the worst accommodation experience of our lives. This resort is a far cry from what is presented online and through direct communication with the owner, who I believe engages in fraudulent practices. I have pictures to support all the claims made in this review. If I could give a negative star rating, I absolutely would. We were charged an exorbitant almost ₹1800 per night per room, a price that locals confirmed is significantly inflated (the actual value being closer to ₹600). The rooms themselves were shockingly small, dirty, and in a state of disrepair. We encountered broken and filthy furniture, stinking and unclean beds, and a cockroach infestation. The bathrooms were disgustingly dirty with a broken commode and no hot water. The owner falsely claimed the resort was a mere 1-1.5 minutes from the sea beach; in reality, it was considerably further. The food served was inedible, of extremely poor quality, and yet outrageously overpriced. The air conditioning in our room, while working, had no remote control, and no blankets were provided on the first night, causing my 4-year-old daughter to be unable to sleep. On the second day, we were given two blankets, but both were foul-smelling, and one was infested with cockroaches, which my mother unfortunately used. The televisions in both rooms were broken and unusable. Adding insult to injury, the resort charged GST on lodging and food but failed to provide a legitimate GST bill. The person who identified himself as the manager upon our arrival later turned out to be the owner, name may be Subhadeep Gayen, who has since stopped answering my phone calls. Basic amenities were severely lacking – no hot water, infrequent and reluctant room cleaning, and no mosquito repellent (which I had to purchase myself). It is clear that the priority of this establishment is to deceive and overcharge guests. Our family vacation was completely ruined by the appalling conditions and dishonest practices at Sea Bird Resort & Restaurant. I strongly urge anyone considering a stay in Tajpur to avoid this resort at all costs. This is not a legitimate business, but rather a place that seems designed to loot unsuspecting tourists.

Very bad experience. This hotel does not have any real gst paper. They take gst amount from everyone with MakeMyTrip's gst number. Nothing is good about this hotel. So pls no one should go to this hotel and waste money. Staff & Food very bad
