Sea Breeze Jomtien Resort

The Sea Breeze Hotel, an established 3-star property with multiple buildings, is well-equipped to host large tour groups. During my stay, there was a noticeable presence of Russian guests, while Thai visitors primarily comprised large seminar groups. As a smaller, individual booking from a travel fair, I was accommodated in one of the smaller buildings (A or B), separate from the main building used by seminar groups. Parking is ample and convenient, as most guests arrive by large tour buses or don't have personal vehicles. Its prime location directly on Jomtien Beach is a major plus – just a short walk across the road. While the hotel is older, it's well-maintained, clean, and the air conditioning works effectively. Service leans towards self-service. The gym, unfortunately, is quite poor, resembling a storage room. The large swimming pool is clean enough for a swim, though the water was a bit cloudy, earning it a 6/10. Breakfast is consistently refilled to accommodate the many guests, and you can enjoy distant views of the beach from the seating area at the front of the hotel.

The room was very dirty. Everything looked old. The bathroom was run down. The bathtub had black stains and mold like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The lights were dim like being in a cave. The air conditioner had a bad smell. When I checked in, the bathroom was still wet like it had only been used for a short time. There was still some kind of sauce from the previous guest in the fridge.

Dark rooms with not enf lighting, showers with no fans, mold everywhere. No coffee, sugar, milk, just an old electric kettle that doesn't even work! How come this is even a 3 star hotel? Doesn't even deserve a single star.
