Sea Esta

As a group of 6 friends we were after a central, spacious property and this ticked both boxes. The house was very clean with loads of amenities and some nice touches such as fresh bread, milk etc. All rooms were en-suite and the beach was just a short walk away. Felt very Covid secure. The host, Steve, was very communicative and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

We had quite a nice stay at this property, and would have happily left a good review. Unfortunately since leaving, our lead booker has received several abusive messages from the host. Therefore, I highly recommend avoiding this property. There was an issue with a parking permit - we stated we left all at the property as requested, he said we had not. Had he approached this sensibly and nicely we would have been willing to work to a satisfactory resolution. However, his messages were irrationally angry and aggressive from the start and could not lead to a constructive conversation. He also gave us less than 2 hours to communicate to see if we had taken it by accident (we had 5 different cars as we live across the country), and demanded payment for its replacement. We understand it’s frustrating when things go missing, but his approach was not on. He also made accusations that the property was left in an “appalling” state (according to his cleaners) which we heavily dispute. The beds were stripped and bins taken out as requested. There should be expectation of some mess when you’re renting out a house to 10 people for a long weekend, and we do not think we left the property in a bad state. His attitude and pressurising nature of his messages made us feel like he was trying to extort additional money from us - there was absolutely no attempt at approaching this constructively from his side.

Avoid!!! A lovely weekend spent at this property was followed up by abusive messages from the owner regarding a parking permit. Despite the fact we left all permits at the property this was disputed by the owner who then tried to pressure further funds out of the booker. There was no reasonable approach for discussion over this matter, it was intimidating and accusatory off the bat. There was also claims that the property was left in an appalling state despite beds being stripped and bins being emptied etc according to all guidelines left by the owner. It is for this reason I would absolutely not recommend a stay at this property.
