Sea Shell Resort & Spa Havelock

We had a wonderful stay at Seashell Havelock! The property is beautifully surrounded by lush greenery, giving it a peaceful and refreshing vibe. The cottage rooms were cozy, clean, and had a lovely charm to them—perfect for a relaxing vacation. The in-house restaurants served delicious food with a good variety, and we really enjoyed every meal. A special shoutout to Raju and Anuj at the front desk—they were incredibly helpful and always greeted us with a warm smile. They took care of all our activities and sightseeing arrangements seamlessly, making our trip stress-free and enjoyable. Highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Havelock!

The place was an absolute delight — undoubtedly one of the highlights of our trip. Set right along the beach, the property is beautifully designed with tall swaying palm trees, a well-maintained pool, a jacuzzi, and an uninterrupted view of the ocean that adds a sense of calm and luxury. There are three restaurants within the premises, each offering a varied menu and genuinely good food — a rarity in Adnan’s, to be honest. The culinary experience was one of the few in the area that truly stood out in terms of both taste and quality. That said, the rooms were rather underwhelming. They were exceptionally small with poor lighting, which took away from the otherwise luxurious feel of the property. However, the attached private balcony was a lovely touch — offering a quiet nook to sit back, relax, and enjoy the surroundings. Overall, it’s a well-located and thoughtfully built property that excels in ambience and dining, though the accommodation could certainly benefit from improvement.

Our stay at Sea Shell, Havelock, was nothing short of a disaster. From the moment we arrived, the desk staff were incredibly rude and completely lacking in basic courtesy. Every interaction felt like a confrontation, and instead of offering solutions, they seemed more interested in creating problems just to charge extra for “resolving” them. The rooms were in – filled with dust, mould & cockroaches, making it impossible to relax. For the price they charge, this place is an absolute rip-off. It completely ruined our holiday experience, and we deeply regret booking it. I called for beach/pool towels and the housekeeping staff and I had to have a conversation for 5 minutes as to WHY I needed the beach towels, until I got frustrated and hung up the call. Once I hung up that’s when they sent the towels to the room. No 5 star hotel asks so many questions or creates inconveniences for guests. Do yourself a favor and avoid this property entirely. There are much better options on Havelock that won’t leave you feeling frustrated and cheated. The only good thing about this hotel is the dive shop on the property.
