I would say that the place is not bad for an affordable stay in a remote location as it is close to Dubai attractions. Breakfast was only Indian options and very limited, however, staff are amazing. Currently there is some renovation in front of the hotel which makes it challenging to park and move around.
I recently stayed at Sea View Hotel for two days, and my experience was average. While some aspects were acceptable, others were quite disappointing. Rooms & Comfort: The room quality was okay—clean and well-maintained with basic amenities. The bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked fine. However, there was nothing special about the room, and it felt quite standard. It’s suitable for a short stay but lacks any standout features. Food & Dining: The food was a major letdown. The taste felt artificial, and there was no variety in the menu. I stayed for two days, and the menu remained the same for every meal, including desserts. This made the dining experience repetitive and unexciting. For breakfast, I was offered pineapple and watermelon juice. I chose watermelon juice, but it tasted like plain water with no real flavor. This was quite disappointing, and I wasn’t confident enough to try the pineapple juice afterward. Location & View: One of the biggest disappointments was the location. Despite the name “Sea View Hotel,” there was no actual sea view, which felt misleading. If you’re expecting a scenic oceanfront stay, this is not the place for you. The surroundings were also quite dull, making the location feel isolated and uninspiring. Service & Overall Experience: The staff were polite and helpful, and housekeeping was fine. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and I didn’t face any service-related issues. However, the overall experience lacked anything memorable. Final Thoughts: If you’re looking for basic accommodation with polite staff, Sea View Hotel is an okay choice. However, if food quality, variety, and location matter to you, this hotel may not be the best option. The repetitive menu, artificial food taste, and lack of a real sea view were significant downsides.
Title: Not Worth It – Felt Unsafe and Disrespected in a Supposed 4-Star Hotel I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but this experience needs to be shared. We stayed at Sea View Hotel, Dubai, thinking it would be a decent experience since it's listed as a four-star hotel — but honestly, it felt far from that. First, a hotel worker entered our room without permission, no knock, no call — just walked right in. That’s a complete violation of privacy. When we confronted them, they didn’t even apologize. Instead, they started arguing with us like it was normal. Then during checkout, they suddenly asked us to pay an extra AED 50 for towels they claimed we had stained — but those towels were already dirty when we got there. The bedsheets were also wet and stained, which was really off-putting. What shocked us most was how aggressive the staff became. Their lifeguard was actually bullying my younger brother, and the security guard physically pushed us when things escalated. That crossed the line. We honestly felt unsafe, disrespected, and completely let down by this place. No one should go through this, especially not at a hotel claiming to be 4-star. It’s not just about comfort — it’s about basic respect and safety, and sadly, this hotel failed both.
