Very nice hotel, tidy, well connected to the city by public transport, the beach is near to the hotel. Breakfast was excellent, and Miss Himena in the restaurant was very kind

The hotel is well located and the beds are of average comfort— no complaints there! There is lots to do within walking distance and the lively beach strip is just a 12-15 min walk away. Breakfast is “ok” in the sense that it has the basics, however the venue for the breakfast area is a loud conference room type of space that isn’t well suited for having a comfortable breakfast. My biggest issue was the customer service I encountered here. My partner and I wanted to have some drinks at the sky bar (the reason we booked at this property) and it was basically impossible to get served. Non-guests are able to access this bar, and it seemed that people off the street who were friends with the bartender were served prior to the rest of the people standing in line, including my partner and I who were paying guests. The bartender left for five minutes to smoke a cig while a massive crowd was waiting for drinks. After about thirty min of waiting, we gave up to go get drinks at a nearby bar which turned out to be a much better experience anyway. I spoke to the front desk about our experience in a cordial way, just to give them the courtesy of letting them know we felt like the bar service was lacking, and he didn’t reply with any words, just a uh-huh, hmmm. Nothing else. Seems like they don’t really care.
