This was my family's second visit! The staff are nice and the food keeps improving. Lots of great activities and performance, but the noise at night is upsetting - near the pool or farther away! Club music till 4 in the morning..... I have babies so you can put my review into perspective! I am very grateful to all the staff - the head chef and Walid front desk!!!

Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing. This is not a true 4-star hotel — more like 3 stars at best. The room for four was extremely small and didn’t match the pictures. The infrastructure is clean but very outdated. THERE IS NO WI-FI except in the lobby, which was a big issue for us. The pools looked nice but were not clean — cloudy water, floating skin, hair… and even bugs like backswimmers that can bite. The buffet was very basic ( for a 4stars hotel)— my kids called it “the canteen,” saying school food is better. The one big positive: the staff was truly kind and helpful. But overall, this hotel needs a serious upgrade to match the 4-star standard. We left disappointed.

We stayed at Seabel Alhambra Golf Resort in Al-Kantaoui in a superior room, and if that was considered superior, I’d hate to imagine what the standard rooms are like. On arrival, we waited 3.5 hours for our room. I had emailed ahead to let them know we’d be arriving slightly early and requested a decent room. While I understand check-in starts at 2pm, we were still given a room that reeked of sewage and was full of ants. The next day, we were moved to a slightly better room, still ants, still musty, no ventilation in bathroom so still smelt awful occasionally. Even though our room was on the first floor (not ground level), ants were still an issue. The balcony was dirty, with litter left behind including a wrapper for medication. The TV didn’t work properly, and the entire room felt outdated and neglected. Cleanliness across the hotel was poor. One evening we saw a rat in the corridor, and during meals, flies hovered around the dessert section. Spoons were strangely hard to come by, and staff often didn’t know where to find them. Wi-Fi is advertised as available in the lobby and superior rooms, but the connection was terrible , constantly cutting in and out, even when sitting right in the lobby and in the room. Completely unreliable. We arrived in time for the late breakfast, which turned out to be just a few croissants, not worth the walk. The 4-6pm snack time was equally underwhelming, with barely any variety. Food overall was edible, but far from impressive. We asked about something simple for our daughter’s birthday, like a bit of decoration etc. Nothing was done. We eventually received a plain plate of fruit, without any effort or care. Entertainment most nights wasn’t great. The shows were okay-ish, not amazing, but the male entertainment team clearly put in effort. Unfortunately, the female entertainers didn’t seem engaged at all, which made the performances feel unbalanced and uninspired. Beach staff, likely independent but operating right in front of the hotel, were constantly pushing water sports. We paid for a 15-minute jet ski session, we barely got 10 mins, which felt dishonest and frustrating, and the staff are very rude and abrupt and don’t explain things calmly and rush you through it which ruins the experience before it even begins especially if your an anxious sort of person as it is. In comparison to other destinations we’ve visited, Egypt, Morocco, Turkey, this was our first time in Tunisia, and the level of staff attentiveness was noticeably lower. While a couple were friendly, many seemed disinterested or disengaged. There was a lack of that warm, welcoming energy we’ve experienced elsewhere, which was disappointing for a first visit. The only real highlight was the beautiful beach , clean, white sand and well-maintained. I’m honestly surprised by the high ratings on Google. I booked this place based on them but left extremely disappointed. This is nowhere near a 4-star hotel, at best, it’s a generous low 3-star, possibly even a 2. I wouldn’t return or recommend it.
