Cutting off fresh running water to your guest WITHOUT any communication should NEVER be an option. The Hotel failed to communicate needed repairs in the middle of the night, cutting fresh water to all their guests without any notice. Inconveniences like these should not happen while on Vacation....

We were Sunset Club Members for years. We visited Tres Rios 2023 or 24 and bought the package for all inclusive thru ?, not thru membership. Around 1600 for a few nights. And our friends came along also for the same price. The food was good, loved the rivers kayaking up and down was very memorable, beach was terrible with seaweed but thats mothernature. We were talked into an "update" on the resort and they pushed so hard for us to upgrade our membership, they DISOWNED US! WE ARE NEVER ALLOWED TO VISIT THE SUNSET RESORTS AGAIN. They took our Membership away that we have had for YEARS AND YEARS. BEWARE BEWARE

Buyers, take heed. The pressure is unrelenting. While they may seem friendly and professional, their true intent is solely to secure a hefty commission. This applies universally to all timeshares, and you would be wise to steer clear of this one. Notice their responds "We sincerely regret the misunderstanding and any inconvenience this may have caused you. Our commitment is to provide you with the best service, and we would like to resolve this situation as soon as possible. If you provide us with your membership number and a contact phone number, we will get in touch with you to review the case in detail and offer a suitable solution" There is no misunderstanding. The sales team just flat out lies to you to get you to sign the contract. We've been members of the Sunset Organization since 2009, but after our most recent stay at TresReos, it is clear this will likely be our last visit. The organization has consistently misrepresented itself since the day we signed up, and their misleading information continues with each annual presentation. We've already reached out to the Mexican ministry regarding these issues and are prepared to take further action if necessary. Upon arrival this year, the concierge tried to convince us to attend yet another "update." Despite expressing our lack of interest in another sales pitch, we were pressured into believing it wasn't a sales pitch but merely an "update," albeit with a commitment of 90 minutes. I negotiated that we would participate in exchange for six free massages, which we've received in prior years. However, when we arrived the following morning, we were told to commit to 120 minutes instead of the agreed-upon 90. I stood firm, stating we had only agreed to 90 and would not extend our time. The representative insisted on Recardo, despite our previous experience with him where he was dishonest. We flatly refused, recalling that our experience with Geo "Georgite" was much more honest and straightforward. Chad, the manager, then intervened and outright stated that they wouldn't give us a presentation, dismissing our request for an update. He confirmed what we already knew: they are a sales organization focused on selling, not providing updates. They finally revealed their true agenda.
