Beautiful hotel right by a white sandy beach with great sunset views. The infinity pool leading onto the beach is a great place to relax. The buffet breakfast was local and international, and delicious. The staff are all friendly, considerate, helpful and happy. The resident tour guide correctly interpreted our family activity requirements and arranged wonderful experiences that our son (6) thoroughly enjoyed! Their grab-taxi (local uber) price match approach meant that all journeys were reasonably priced and supported our local drivers. We had a great time in Phu Quoc and really enjoyed our stay at Seashells and will return.
I had a mostly positive experience at this hotel. The property feels brand new, with spacious rooms and a great view. The pool and beach area are fantastic, and the beach bar is a great addition. The staff were friendly, and the breakfast was perfect. However, the check-in experience was a bit of a letdown. The receptionist was cold and unprofessional, asking for two passports and then forgetting to return them. Thankfully, everything else about the hotel was great. On a positive note, their email correspondence is quick and efficient, especially regarding shuttle services, which was quite nice. Overall, a well-managed place with room for improvement.
We had a very enjoyable stay at Seashells Hotel Phu Quoc. The location was perfect—just a short walk from the city center and night market, yet right on the beach, offering the best of both worlds. The hotel features a fantastic infinity pool and a well-maintained beach that was cleaned daily (at least 2-3 bags of dirts every morning! Vietnam is an ecological disaster!). Our sea-view room was spacious and offered stunning views, although it was quite humid inside and occasionally carried kitchen odors from the restaurant. That said, the Coral Restaurant was a pleasant surprise—delicious food at very reasonable prices, sometimes even cheaper than nearby local spots. The service throughout our stay was excellent. The Spa was not well maintained unfortunately. Overall, Seashells Hotel offers great value for money and stands out in terms of cost-performance compared to other hotels and spas we visited on the island. I would happily recommend it.
