Seaside Hostels

The hostel demanded 4x the price after I booked and paid via Agoda. They threatened to cancel my booking without refund unless I paid more. This is a scam.

Don’t be fooled by the pictures and 4.8 rating in Google. It’s fake. Worst hostel I’ve I’ve seen! Very smelly,messy and unhygienic rooms. Looks like people have been staying here for months. More like a PG than hostel. We immediately cancelled our booking. For which the refund as also not provided !

Seaside Hostel is not what it seems. The positive reviews are misleading because guests are pressured into writing them. Irfan, who claims to be the manager, has been known to tell people, 'I won’t let you take your stuff out unless you leave a good review.' This creates a false image that doesn't reflect the real experience. Even the photos online are completely misleading—they don’t come close to what you’ll actually find when you arrive. While the location may be convenient, the living conditions are far from acceptable. The triple-bed rooms are overpriced and overcrowded. The kitchen is poorly maintained, with broken utensils, and the common areas are often messy, with shoes scattered everywhere. The air conditioning is always set to an uncomfortably cold temperature, making it difficult to stay indoors. The biggest issue is the management. Irfan is frequently loud, unprofessional, and demanding. He asks guests for extra money unexpectedly and even pressures them to bring in more guests. On my birthday, while I was spending time with my friends, who were also staying there, he barged in and started shouting at me, completely ruining the occasion. Overall, Seaside Hostel lacks proper management and hospitality. Guests deserve a place where they feel welcome and respected, not pressured or mistreated. The reality of this place is far from what’s shown in the pictures and reviews. I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable or stress-free stay.
