Seaview Patong Hotel SHA Plus

The staff are so friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed the stay here. The breakfasts were lovely and really catered for everyone. We had dinner 3 nights here and every time the food was lovely and well worth every cent. We had a view of the old fishing village and my only downfall was the sound of the boats coming and going out late at night and early mornings.

We hadn't stayed in this hotel for 18 years and were a bit skeptical about going back after so long. It was still the same as if we'd stepped back in time. Everything was pretty as it was. The pools were clean and not too busy with sunbeds that were easy to get with no "sunbed wars" and towels everywhere! Cheep and cheerful, mainly a bed for the night as most time was spent in the pool or out at the shops etc. Ive had better service i must admit, the staff were friendly enough but could have done better!

Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Price or Rating Unfortunately, I would not stay at this hotel again. While it's advertised as a 4-star property, the reality doesn't live up to that standard. Based on my experience, I find it hard to understand the overly positive reviews, though the general clientele may explain some of them. On the positive side, we were fortunate with our room – no visible mold, leaks, or insects. However, it did feel like any past issues may have been superficially covered up. The entire property, including the rooms and public areas, appears very dated and in need of a full renovation. I booked a double bed, but I got two single beds pushed together, can you solve it that way, ridiculous The gym was particularly disappointing. Only one treadmill was functional, and it seemed like it hadn’t been properly cleaned or maintained in years. On the bright side, they did provide complimentary water. Cleanliness overall was not up to expectations. A thorough deep clean of both private and shared spaces would make a huge difference. That said, I want to acknowledge the housekeeping staff – they were kind, efficient, and clearly working hard, which I truly appreciated. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the reception staff, who came across as unfriendly, dismissive, and unable to communicate effectively in either English or Thai. This was surprising and disappointing for a hotel of this category. (Again, 4 stars, where??) Another important point: noise levels. There is almost no sound insulation. We could hear everything from the neighboring rooms and the busy street outside, day and night, which made restful sleep quite impossible. All in all, there are many better options in the area. Never ever again!!!
