Secrets Bahia Mita Surf & Spa Adults Only All Inclusive

Secrets truly made our first all-inclusive Mexican vacation incredible! For my wife's birthday, they went above and beyond, providing champagne and a custom cake. Every dining option was excellent; we especially loved Bordeaux. We also enjoyed a lively Mexican fiesta featuring delicious food and a mariachi band. The pools were great, and the staff was exceptionally friendly, making our experience truly memorable. While some reviews mentioned a rocky beach, we found ample space to relax and enjoy it.

Good all inclusive hotel, there’s a space for only adults. The pool is cool and the many dining options, however you must reserve in all of them. They have a small club on site and a late bar. Everybody speaks English and are very attentive. The snacks aren’t always available and the ice cream is overly sweet. The rooms need renovation and more wine options in the restaurants, they sell better option for bottles. The tips are supposed to be included but the staff seems to expect more when the check is closed. There are a lot of mosquitoes during the summer time, be careful as I actually got dengue. No beach to swim just to see.

This hotel is a luxury hotel but it's starting to not have its luxury feel Secrets was known for. Not sure if Hyatt purchasing it has anything to do with it. Upon check in, for some reason, the minibar in the room was out of the cabinet and placed to the side, taking up space and looking out of place. The room floor was dirty when we checked in. We received a call asking if everything was okay, and I told them it wasn't (dirty floor and minibar). The girl said she would check on it and call us back. We waited 20 minutes and never received a call back, and no one followed up. In-room amenities like cotton balls and cotton tips were not restocked during our stay. The bartender at the Preferred Club spent the whole time chatting with guests while we waited for our drinks, so we decided to leave. The air conditioning vent in the Preferred Club (ceiling) urgently needs maintenance. We mentioned in our reservation that we were celebrating our anniversary, but they didn't put the Happy Anniversary banner on our door or a note in our room like they usually do. We thought they stopped doing this, but during our stay, we noticed that many doors in the hotel had them. To our surprise, dinner reservations are now required at the specialty restaurants. We tried to make reservations at several through the app, but it showed us as unavailable. We decided to walk in twice (Mezes and Portofino), and the restaurants were empty but the app said "Fully Booked". The property is very nice and the staff is friendly. We were really hoping for an experience like Secrets usually offers, but it was a bit disappointing. They are neglecting many details in maintenance and services.
