Incredible Staff Made This Trip Unforgettable! We just returned from an amazing stay at this all-inclusive resort, and I can confidently say that the staff made all the difference in our experience. Manuel, one of the bartenders, was truly a highlight of our trip. His energy, positivity, and genuine friendliness created such a fun atmosphere that we ended up going out of our way just to visit his bar every day. He made everyone feel welcome and took the time to connect with guests on a personal level—it felt like hanging out with a good friend. He really knows how to make each person feel special. Russell, our concierge, also went above and beyond. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel welcomed and taken care of. Even when we weren’t sure what we needed, he helped us organize dinner reservations, room service, and even surprised us with champagne and decorations for our celebration. He checked in throughout our stay and made sure every detail was perfect. I’ll definitely be asking for him again on our next visit. Overall, the entire staff was upbeat, warm, and constantly went out of their way to greet us and ensure we were having a great time. The entertainment team by the pool also did a fantastic job keeping the energy up and making sure everyone was enjoying themselves. If you're looking for a resort with great service and staff who genuinely care, this is it. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

We chose this resort to celebrate our anniversary. The resort is gorgeous and meticulously maintained. Every single employee from the moment we walked in until the moment we left was pleasant, welcoming and helpful. Our butler Ricardo checked on us daily and took care of anything we needed. Ana at the restaurants and Carlos the singing waiter were just a couple of the people who made our stay so enjoyable. Our suite was large and beautiful with a plunge pool and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was huge and had a vanity for the ladies. The food was very good and we enjoyed trying all the different restaurants. Some were better than others, but we all know food is very subjective and we loved being able to try it all. On our last night they had an Italian feast in the courtyard and we couldn’t believe the amount of food there was to choose from. They had musicians everywhere which we very much enjoyed. From pianos, electric violins, duets to a full salsa band on the beach and DJ’s at the pool. The atmosphere was always festive. This resort is our favorite yet and we cannot wait to go back and take some friends.

This review does not refer to the preferred area of the hotel: Overall, this is a fairly decent hotel, but it does not meet European 5-star standards. The staff are generally friendly, polite, and helpful. However, we felt that the beach service staff were not particularly motivated to serve us or check whether we needed anything else. For a so-called 5-star resort, this is absolutely incomprehensible and far from the level of service one would expect. Our room was clean and tidy, although the tropical climate was noticeable, as there was occasionally a musty smell. The food was, overall, good for an all-inclusive resort, and there were various restaurants themed around different national cuisines. Of the four restaurants we tried, the Asian one was the least to our taste. Unfortunately, we must also mention that this was our honeymoon, which we had informed the hotel about via email in advance. Upon arrival, we even reminded our concierge of the purpose of our trip. Sadly, this information was never acknowledged during our stay, unlike with other guests. The spa services are also far too overpriced, which is why we did not make use of them. All in all, this hotel can be recommended, but if we return to the Dominican Republic, we will be looking for a different place to stay.
