The Seda Lio resort was beyond what I could have imagined. The resort feels very exclusive, peaceful, comfortable, and incredible scenery. Sitting at breakfast each morning, you can see and hear the birds and nature all around. the breakfast buffet was incredible, and all the staff were so kind, friendly, and attentive to us. Sanders, the food and beverage manager, was incredibly helpful - offering us suggestions for tours and places to visit. We loved every place we visited from his recommendation! Eddie and Joshua made our beach experience amazing! Eddie even gifted me with a hat he handmade out of coconut palm leaves. I highly recommend paddle boarding and taking advantage of the activities offered right from the resort. The location of the resort is also perfect where you can walk along the beach to restaurants and shops nearby. Thank you Seda Lio! If I have the opportunity, I would absolutely visit again!

The hotel itself was nice and secluded. The first room we were in, the thermostat was set to 62F. We couldn’t change the temperature. About 3 maintenance crew came different times (2am, 3am, 4:30am?) to “fix” the thermostat but were unable to. We just had to use plenty of blankets. We requested for another room the following day and their supervisor upgraded us to a better room. Food was good and the restaurant crew was great and attentive. I would recommend the hotel itself. What I’m having an issue with is the SERVICE of the “refund department.” My family and I checked out March 20th, and until now - June 11, I am still waiting for a response for an update. I have been emailing them WEEKLY. It has been 12 weeks of dealing with this. The Seda Lio supervisors were on the email thread but NO ONE responded. Their system needs an improvement.

The place is nice, as it should be, given the rates they charge. However, it doesn’t quite meet the high standards it aspires to certainly not on par with hotels like Shangri-La, for example. Food: Overall, the food is relatively good, but some dishes are disappointing. For instance, the chef’s salad was a disaster about 10 grams of ham and two tiny potatoes, as shown in the attached photo. The highlight of the menu was the shrimp in coconut sauce, which I would recommend. On the other hand, the pizza looked and tasted like a frozen one, not freshly made. Kids’ Room: The playmat hadn’t been cleaned for a long time, and worse, parts of it were torn into pieces. This is dangerous, especially for crawling babies who could easily put these pieces into their mouths (photo attached). The stuffed toys also appeared not to have been cleaned in ages. Breakfast: There was a surprisingly small variety of fruits, especially considering it’s the Philippines. That said, the staff serving breakfast were wonderful attentive, friendly, and they truly made the experience enjoyable. Positives: • Unlimited drinking water • Clean hotel surroundings and beach • Soundproofed rooms Overall: It’s an okay place, but certainly not worth the high price tag they place on it.
