Jewel of the region. Great view from the terrace of cafe restaurant, from which you can also see kids playing in nearby Spielplatz. Additional cozy cafe in the shades. Sandy beach with barbecue spot and volleyball on sand. Also small stand with drinks and fast food right on the beach. Big and beautiful lake surrounded with the forest.

We stayed a night over in our camper van whilst travelling through Europe with child and dog. Clean facilities, and staff was friendly. There is a nice lake and beaches to swim in, even a dog specific beach. There are many facilities on site(power/water/drains), camping toilets are modern, clean, and well presented. This is a place where I wished I brought the bicycles with. I'm removing one star because it looks like the camping spots are more of an afterthought than a feature. There isn't any shade in these spots, and it's all gravel based. Would be nice to have grass with tracks for campers to rest on instead. So unless you have your own awnings or tents to provide cover, it might be uncomfortable during peak summer. We came during the heatwave so we felt it, as we travelled light with only small awning, in a vintage camper without air conditioning.
