Beautifully hotel with a gorgeous view on the mountains and the Lake. Atmosphere is chic yet simple, the amenities are great and so was the staff, professional and friendly, we enjoyed the beautiful, large and modern room.Couldn't use the Spa or the swimming pool but will next time. Breakfast was one of the best I ever had with the raw honey direct from producer, butter, and also for a farm nearby, a lot of attention to nature in all forms. It's a great calming place.
Absolutely fantastic hotel. Service was excellent and rooms were nicely laid out. It has great accessibility all around the hotel and even all the way to the lakefront where the views at sunset are breathtaking
Excellent location, with comfortable and modern rooms. Amenities are great. Breakfast is exceptional. I have three main pieces of feedback for improvement: 1. The hotel needs to be much more transparent about the availability of some of its key selling points, notably the impressive bar/restaurant on stilts in the lake (the ‘Badehaus’). We arrived on Monday and were disappointed to discover that this is only open from Friday to Sunday, meaning we couldn’t use it! This was one of the main things that attracted us to the hotel, so this was hugely disappointing. The ‘red bar’ was also only open during these times, meaning two publicised facilities are in fact unavailable for more than 50% of the week! 2. The service staff in the bar are friendly, but seem to be inexperienced. There were cases of forgotten orders and poor cocktails. The staff in the restaurant are noticeably better and more experienced. I suggest more training is needed for the bar staff. 3. There seems to be some confusion at reception about what the hotel is offering. We booked a deal direct with the hotel website which included a 70€ voucher, but reception didn’t have any idea about this when we checked in, and even when we checked out! However, they did apply this discount eventually. Additionally, reception also told us the full restaurant dinner menu would also be available in the bar area, but when we arrived we discovered that it was a much more limited menu, which was disappointing. Overall, more synergy and communication is needed between different parts of the hotel.
