A great hotel. The room was spacious and well equipped, however there was only coffee available in the room, I'm sure tea would have been available on request. Breakfast was fantastic with local produce and a great breakfast room and service. Staff were warm and welcoming. A great base for visiting the region. We had a room with a large terrace, however the only improvement would be to increase privacy screening from the adjoining room. Overall an excellent hotel.

We recently enjoyed a delightful 3-night, 4-day stay at SeeHotel Hartung, which provided us with an excellent base for exploring the region’s stunning castles, including Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau. The hotel’s location is incredibly convenient, with Füssen just an 8-minute drive away and the castles not much further. Upon arrival, we received a guest card, which offered free public transportation—a fantastic perk that we utilized frequently to visit Füssen and the nearby castles. This made our sightseeing trips seamless and enjoyable. The hotel itself is situated directly opposite a lake, offering a breathtaking panorama of the surrounding mountains. There are several nearby restaurants, and the hotel’s own restaurant is highly commendable. Breakfast was a particular highlight, with delicious offerings enjoyed against the stunning backdrop of the mountains. SeeHotel Hartung also features an excellent spa, complete with a hammam and sauna. The sauna’s mountain view was a standout feature. The relaxation area also boasts a magnificent view of the lake and mountains, providing a serene environment for unwinding. It’s worth noting that the spa follows traditional German customs, so nudity is required, but this did not pose any issue for us. Although we didn’t try the indoor and outdoor jacuzzis, they are available; however, the outdoor jacuzzi was closed due to the winter season and snow during our visit. Our room exceeded our expectations, effectively functioning as a small apartment with all necessary amenities. The kitchen was well-equipped with a coffee machine, toaster, and all essential utensils, making it easy to feel at home. The room included a TV, two sofas (one of which was a sofa bed), a small balcony to enjoy the fresh air, and very comfortable bedding. The bathroom was a bit small but manageable. Finally, the staff at SeeHotel Hartung were incredibly welcoming and friendly. Despite our lack of German, we had no trouble communicating as everyone spoke good English, ensuring a smooth and pleasant stay. In conclusion, SeeHotel Hartung provided an exceptional experience with its prime location, excellent amenities, and outstanding service. We highly recommend it for a relaxing and scenic getaway!

Lovely family-run hotel, the rooms are decently furnished, soft furnishings like hooks and clothes hangers in the right places, and the thankfully, the toilet is up-to-date and fairly modern. Unfortunately, the shower head rail wasn't working properly but I'm nit-picking here. We had a room facing the lake and it had a fantastic view from the balcony. Unfortunately, we had a smoker for our neighbor so we had to bear with the occasional whiff of cigarette smoke. The breakfast restaurant and its outdoor terrace was simply amazing. Great hospitality from the waitress and breakfast food was very good. I wished the vending machine in the hotel lobby wasn't there, but I guess it's a good way for guests to get drinks after the reception/ restaurant closes. The lobby would be much more spacious and welcoming without that vending machine. Would visit again and stay here instead of the hotels in Fussen for its peace and quiet, lower price, and local family hospitality.
