ABOUT THE RESTAURANT: 5 Stars in terms of quality and price as well as the environment and service. ABOUT THE HOTEL: Rooms are spacious and make a clean and renovated impression. I also liked the fact that the hotel has direct access to the lake. HOWEVER, the private beach was a huge disappointment. Sun beds are too tight next to each other, the hotel allows guests to reserve beds at 7 am, sun beds are of cheap quality,… in other words, the private beach area does not reflect expectation towards the hotel nor the price point. I recommend the hotel for its rooms and breakfast/restaurant but definitely not for the beach area

I can understand the high room rate during the holidays, but I can't understand charging me a high rate for a bed of such poor quality. The front desk receptionist always emphasizes the rules and helplessness of the hotel. What is more commendable is the cleaners and porters hired by the hotel. They are very polite and enthusiastic.

I have stayed in this hotel 3 times. The first 2 times with my husband, we loved it, lovely rooms, good food etc. This time was disapointing. We booked a standard room for 2 nights with balcony,which was maybe 1qm and bordered onto a roof top, therefore absolutely no sight at all. If we used the overhead shower, we had permanent flooding in the tiny bathroom, although we tried to be careful und use less water, which meant drying our hair while standing in a puddle. When checking out, I asked for the bill to be split between the 2 of us. For some reason 1 was only to pay a third of the Bill and my sister 2 thirds, there was a short misunderstanding, the woman realised her mistake, no aplogies only rudely told us to go to our rooms while she sorted it out. I am 70 years old and do not need chastising. On the otherhand, the setting is fantastic, the beach bar wonderful, friendly staff, good food and Snacks also the Bistro and Bar infront of the hotel is grandios. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, the young Lady who checked us in was delightful. The Hotel and ajoining grounds are beautiful. The hotel itself cannot be faulted. I realize a standard room is always not quite as good as a superior room, but a 4star hotel should at least have minimal Standards.
