First of all the rude costumers who come here for one day and leave a negative review should be banned from giving reviews! It’s absolutely shocking what people do! Those „humans“ should not be allowed in such spaces like nature! We stay in the Hotel for a week! We have a stunning Lake view! We‘ve got a Bathtub on our balcony! I have traveled the world and my partner has seen many yoga retreats! I habe never had such a beautiful room with view… on Bali could top this for me! People, forget the reviews and come here when Summer ends and its quite and warm! People are nice! The forest is beautiful! The food is delicious! Just ignore the bitter people in the comment section! 😄
The key point in favor of this hotel is the nice location directly in front of the Montiggler See. Is this a 4*S hotel? No. The whole infrastructure is dated and the quality of service unfortunately is also not 4* level: our room had a broken window blind, we asked at the reception and the answer was basically that they're not fixing this. The wellness area is very dated, has one tiny Sauna with no light and an equally tiny steam bath. The pool has a decent size. While I personally had a great time due to the people I was here with, I objectively would not recommend this hotel.
We went here this morning for lunch. My family took a walk while I went with my mother who had to stay out of the sun as she is having radiation treatment for cancer. We sat in a beautiful shady area underneath the vines. We didn’t realise we were not able to sit there and were told by a very rude waiter (at the top of his voice for all other guests to hear) we had to move as we were not hotel guests. There is a way to tell people this and shouting it at us in order to embarrass your customers is not the way to do it. We immediately left and went next door to the pizzeria next door. Here my family joined us and we had a fabulous lunch with 3 lovely, polite waitresses. My mother lives locally and shall not be returning to this establishment. I’m surprised that it is a hotel with 4 stars when you employ such rude staff. We can’t comment on the quality of the food as didn’t feel welcome to stay. I won’t be back!
