We had our honeymoon here in October and wow is all we can say. We had a slight problem with rooms which was completely the fault of us and our travel agent and not at all on the hotel but they still, the minute we got there and realised our mistake, did absolutely everything they could to rectify this and make sure we had the absolute best honeymoon from then on. They bent over backwards to ensure we had the room we wanted and were happy. They couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. This as well could be said of the food, I am vegan and gluten free and once making the hotel aware of this they made sure they made whatever I wanted for dinner suitable and it was absolutely delicious every single night. All 3 courses! They also ordered in special breakfasts foods for me and I had a selection every morning that was alternative to the help yourself breakfast my husband enjoyed. The hotel is spotlessly clean and full of rustic charm! Perfectly located as well as up a small hill which enables wonderful views whilst also being 10 minutes from the town. We had a wonderful time and will never never forget this holiday! We already want to go back and stay here again. Cannot recommend enough!

Beautiful and comfortable hotel. Stylish rooms with balcons, very friendly staff, ski room with boot drying, parking, sauna, magnificent lobby and bar, chic dining room and excellent breakfast! We were very pleased and therefore highly recommend it.

Starting with the rooms. Me and my partner had the double comfort room, which was the cheapest for 2 people. Before I continue, yes, I am aware that the more you pay, the better your room will be. But it is a little too noticeable. Our room was equipped with a good bed and bathroom. The room style wasn't my favourite, but that doesn't matter for the overall score. The room had a balcony, which was really nice. However, our view was not of the beautiful mountains but of the parking lot. This was a little disappointing, but I could understand. I did, however, ask if we could perhaps switch to another room. This was not possible unless we paid to upgrade to a better room. I understood. However, in hindsight, after reading the website description another time, I did not. The website states that almost all the rooms we were staying in had a northwest view. (Which I am going to assume was to the mountains, and not the parking lot). It seemed like the hotel was pretty empty, so I can't understand why we couldn't switch to the same room with the better view. Moving onto something different in our room, the bathroom. The shower door couldn't close properly. When showering, the water leaks through the crevice that is at floor level of the shower. The whole floor was wet. Very annoying. Lastly, the towels were not clean. They had stains. Now, onto the service. The man behind the desk that greeted us seemed friendly. But he did stare at us sometimes, which was a little awkward. The staff that asked for our room number at the breakfast came over as a little rude. She asked our number, noted it, and immediately took off, not saying anything. Other staff standing at the breakfast location also stared at us for like 5 seconds. Overall a little weird. The location itself was great. You could see the mountains. And the city was close by. Nothing bad to note about it. Lastly, the breakfast, which I thought was great. The scrambled eggs tasted less buttery than your usual hotel, which I liked. Same for bacon being less greasy. You were also able to make your own little pancakes, which was nice. Overall, it was an okay experience for me. Maybe getting a pricier room and doing the activities available like skiing and the sauna would make the experience more pleasant.
