Great weekend getaway. Very friendly and helpful staff, from check-in to restaurant. Some of the rooms are somewhat dated but there are renovations underway to update the rooms, there is also construction going on to add a spa and wellness area (should finish in Q3/Q4 of 2025). Spacious rooms, all amenities available and in working order. Rooms facing the main street might be a bit noisier than the rooms facing the lake of Constance - great views to the surrounding landscapes, somewhat close to the lake (within walking distance). A great restaurant on premises, we really enjoyed our stay and will be back at smoe time in the future for sure.
Staff was very nice and working very hard to provide good service. Great proximity to Lake Konstanz, we could see it from our balcony. Food was good and no set menu, they verbally offered some options they could cook for us which was cool. They even made special order mashed potatoes with grated cheese from St. Gallen for my 9 year old - he loved it and still talks about it!
The hotel does not have a champagne or body bath just body milk. The staff do not speak English. They are not hospitable even a little. The restaurant is open until 11pm, but they were thrown out at 10pm because they were accommodated. Shame.
