Weird hotel. Located in industrial suburbs of Sigulda, among half abandoned warehouses and car repair shops. Weird place for hotel. Room was quite big, but that is all. We did not have a minibar nor a fridge in the room. Although I was asked for a credit card number in case I will use a mini bar. No conditioner also (we did not need one in October, but just for your information, it was stated). Everything seemed very outdated, though clean. There was a terrible smell in the bathroom. It got worse, when you started using the sink. This smell was also on the whole floor sometimes, so seems that this a whole hotel problem, not only one room. Someone was also smoking in corridor, so smells were just “perfect”… Breakfast was poor and tasteless. Not enough seating space, we accidentally took other guests place, turned out he didn’t finish yet. But there was absolutely no place to sit otherwise… Overall this is definitely not a 4 star hotel neither by facilities, nor by location or service. Most of 3 stars hotels we stayed at were much better quality. It is ok, if you need to stay for 1 night, but not more.

Overall more or less is ok for that price, but this is not a 4-star hotel for sure, more like a 3-star. Rooms are quite spacious, bathrooms are ok. An air conditioner was out of order during the hottest days (official reason - due to a storm). Breakfast - there was a food. Hotel is outdated, requires some update.

While advertised as a four-star hotel, this establishment felt more like a three-star experience. The breakfast offered a good variety of items and was the highlight of the stay. The hotel is conveniently located near the shopping mall but is quite far from the train station, castle, and park. Instead of the double room we booked, we were allocated a disabled access room, which unfortunately diminished our enjoyment. Overall, our vacation was partially disappointed by the mismatch between expectations and reality at this hotel. Facilities themselves fell short of four-star standards, especially considering the room assignment issue. While an affordable option, we likely would not return for a future visit nor recommend this as a top choice for the area. With some updates and better execution, the hotel could better live up to its four-star branding and rating.
