A very comfortable stay. Took the room option with onsen including dinner and breakfast. Worth the amount paid. Very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.

The hotel is very nice. The breakfast was very good, French toast with real maple syrup. The traditional room was a bit basic for the price. The onsen was beautiful and many different baths, but they were all very hot. We moved to Hasegawa hotel for one night and the room was half the price and absolutely modern and beautiful but the onsen was definitely not as good. Do not miss Italian restaurant salute… the best Italian food we had in the whole trip. Highly recommend!

It's an classic hot springs hotel in Awara hot springs resort. Visited with my family, the hotel is located nearby Japan sea but view from the room is not good. Cleaned well but it may be improved, a bin was not empty for example. All-you-can-eat buffet for dinner and breakfast were nice, especially crabs, shrimps and other seafoods were lovely. Hot springs indoor and outdoor were fantastic. Someone mentioned in its review, I also felt strange very much that a woman cleaner tries to chat with naked men in a dressing room.
