Selectum Collection Bodrum

My family and I visited this hotel 2 years ago. We had a wonderful time outside of big crowds and tourists. Great and tasty food, comfy sleeping and friendly staff. Quite a big pool close to beautiful „bight”with excellent sea. Equipment was very good and well maintained. Yes, it’s little bit far from the Bodrum city but the taxis here are really cheap (15-20€ to Bodrum) and the reception desk has no problem to help with trips and then call the taxi. You can visit close Greece by a ferry from Bodrum which I would recommend even though I was in Greece couple times it is fine to have a one day of from the hotel and travel a bit.

A very fun spot for families! Kids activities they love, a great kids pool, beach volleyball everyday, a beach to change up the water play… the list goes on! A nice buffet with food and interesting food and also quiet restaurants if the wild buffet scene isn’t for you (I def needed to change it up!) I loved the small coffee shop that felt like it was I a small village and the fact that my kids felt safe and like they were on a fun vacation too. A family vacation with fun and rest for all! The evening entertainment is very interesting and fun for the different age groups. It starts quite late for kids helping them sleep in a bit longer than usual.

I want to be very clear about my experience. While the food was varied and delicious and the outdoor areas were nice, the hygiene standards in the rooms were unacceptable. The bathrooms were very old and appeared neglected, often dirty with water on the floor and toilets left uncleaned. This level of hygiene is simply not acceptable for any guest. What upset me even more was the complete lack of responsibility from the staff. Two days before my departure, the housekeepers took my baby’s towel by mistake. I noticed the towel was missing immediately after they left the room and reported this several times — to the cleaning staff, towel distributors, and even at reception. Despite my repeated requests, no one took ownership, no one followed up, and the towel was never returned. There was not even an apology or explanation. Communication was difficult as very few staff spoke English, but the lack of accountability was the biggest issue. I feel compelled to share this experience so others are aware. The poor cleanliness and indifferent service overshadowed the positives of the resort and left me deeply disappointed. I cannot recommend this place until these issues are addressed.
