Not a 5 star resort. More like 3 stars. Pool rim needs cleaning. Food is ok, the restaurant is small so not a huge choice. But for the price it's ok. Location is great, near the beach and center of Tsilivi where there are many great restaurants and cocktail bars.
Stating off brutally honest, it is not worth 5 stars. A solid 3 at most. - Rooms are spacious; - Food is limited, Luke warm at most, but you won't starve and the quality is actually there; - Pool is not as described by others, yes the edge needs a thorough extra clean, but the water and the rest of the pool are clean; - Staff is super kind and our cleaner was superb! - Location is good, just a 5 minute walk to a good selection of stores, supermarket, cash machine etc. - The price people pay for this hotel varies hugely. If you pay more then 500-600 p.p.p.w. I'd say you're up for a disappointing stay. Tip: if you rent a quad to explore the island, get a 600cc, we loved it. Also loved seeing the 400cc's struggling to get up the hill(s).
We booked a last-minute trip to this hotel, and we regretted it the moment we arrived. The reception staff were unfriendly, and the overall vibe was not at all what we expected. The hotel is poorly maintained — broken floors, peeling paint on the walls, and green algae along the edges are just a few examples. If you want to use a sunbed by the pool, expect stains on the mattresses and a musty smell. Walking past the pool to the so-called “restaurant,” you end up at a place that feels more like a campsite. All the drinks are from the cheapest brands — and you can taste it. The food is downright awful — so bad that we chose to eat at a restaurant outside the hotel on our very first day. Now, how to describe the room? Mold in the bathroom, dirt and items left behind by previous guests on the floor, broken seals and skirting boards, and a shower so clogged with limescale that it barely works. When you do manage to take a shower, the water literally floods into the room. No complaint was taken seriously. We were constantly redirected to the travel agency, which couldn’t help either. After just two nights, we checked out and paid for another hotel ourselves for the rest of the holiday. The hotel management offered no assistance, compensation, or even an apology.
