The hotel is located in the heart of Ubud, with a lively street full of cafes and massage parlours just outside. Sayuri Healing Food and Sand Spa are especially worth checking out in the neighborhood. Hotel welcomed us with a pastry and a welcome drink which was a sweet gesture. They also arranged complimentary baby cot on request. Cons: There’s not much to do within the hotel itself. The indoor swimming pool is quite small—more like a large bathtub—so it might be fun for kids, but not ideal for adults. Room walls are very thin and you can hear even whisper from the adjoining room. The bathroom design is also inconvenient, with a glass wall and an ill-fitting curtain that doesn’t provide comfort while using shower.
Staying in this hotel was my first visit to Bali, Indonesia. We were a group of 6 people, with a family staying 3 days. An old hotel, but modern features and fittings belong to that hotel. Not a hotel, but cosy with good services. The location of this hotel was good, as it's very close to central Ubud. The Ubud centre is just 5 minutes walking distance, lots of shopping and restaurants are just nearby this hotel. The breakfast was so-so, not too many options. There was a small but beautiful swimming pool there. The food was good.
Checked in a few hours ago (10p) and haven’t went to sleep yet (1:30a). I’ve been looking for another hotel. This is definitely not a 4 star hotel. The room has an odor and is small. The shower is discussing, not well kept, the water is luke warm at best and is not draining properly. The towels are dingy. Cabinets are chipped. The walls are super thin. You can hear people in the next room opening and closing the drawers. At a more reasonable hour, I’m going to attempt to at least get my room changed to something that doesn’t smell and the shower doesn’t look so bad. No way I could do a few nights here. I am highly disappointed.
