Our stay at Senses hotel was truly exceptional! The room was a heaven of comfort – impeccably clean, elegantly furnished, and offered a wonderfully restful sleep. It felt like a nice, calm place to relax. The food was equally impressive. We had breakfast, and there was so much to choose from, all fresh and tasty. We also ate dinner and it was delicious. The food tasted great and looked good too. Everyone who worked there was very friendly and helpful, specially Chef Raja. The ambience was wonderful right away. It felt calm and nice everywhere we went in the hotel. It made us feel relaxed and happy. Coupled with attentive service, Senses offers a top-class experience. Highly recommended for a perfect blend of comfort and gourmet dining!
This could have been a 3.5, but unfortunately, a few consistent issues brought the experience down. The rooms are passable but outdated. While the bed was comfortable, basic things like door functionality were frustrating, doors required actual force to close, which felt unnecessarily inconvenient for a hotel of this standard. Best part is they provide 3 bottles of water (unlike other hotels who just give 2) and they provide talcum powder which is a good addition for me The biggest disappointment was the food and restaurant service. Except for the buffet breakfast, which was decent, the overall food quality was poor and underwhelming. The food looked miserable and I'm not sure whether it was even fresh. Service was slow, and attempts to give constructive feedback were often met with defensiveness or outright argument, which is simply not acceptable in the hospitality industry. When I said I'll have to find alternatives for my food, they were least bothered, so I guess they simply don't care. On the positive side, the non-restaurant staff were excellent, courteous, prompt, and professional. They were the saving grace of the experience and helped me with whatever possible comfort they could provide In short, this property has potential, but the F&B team needs urgent attention, both in terms of food quality and attitude. Until that improves, it’s hard to recommend wholeheartedly. Disappointed to be honest. And while it shows its a 4 star hotel on their website, they definitely are not
I recently visited this restaurant/hotel, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. The staff lacked cooperation and respect, which set a negative tone for our stay. We had booked a king-size bed, but instead, we were provided with two single beds pushed together, which was extremely uncomfortable. Additionally, we were charged exorbitantly for a small stain on the bed sheet, which seemed unfair. The pool area was under construction, limiting our ability to enjoy the facilities. The receptionists came across as arrogant, and their attitude was off-putting. Furthermore, when we were leaving, we encountered an issue with car parking as a vehicle was blocking ours, and it took the staff a considerable amount of time to resolve the issue. Overall, I would not recommend this place due to the poor service and various issues we encountered during our stay.
