Sensira Resort & Spa Riviera Maya All Inclusive

Location is about a 20 minute drive from the airport and easy to get to. The layout of the resort is very nice, so that most rooms have an ocean view and a view of all of the pools in the property. I like that compared to other big resorts in the area, this was walkable and I had access to all of the amenities in the area readily accessible without having to walk a super long way or having to use a golf cart. The food was great, I especially enjoyed the steakhouse. All of the staff were super helpful and seemed genuinely happy to help and be there. I was traveling with an 8 year old and he loved having access to the zip line and the mini golf. Highly highly recommend this resort of you are traveling with children.

I brought my mom and 2 children ages 6 and 11 here for their birthdays. This resort was absolutely incredible in almost every way. The service from most of the staff was outstanding. The breakfast and lunch buffets were to die for(i definitely gained some weight) the drinks were outstanding. The entertainment and shows at night were incredible and enjoyable for adults and children. Our bellboy Diego was AMAZING, professional and very polite always checking on us when he saw us around. The water park is amazing for the children, as well as the pools. They were always on top of keeping the rooms cleaned and the fridge stocked. Our spa experience left my mom and I in complete relaxation all day. So many scheduled activities for anyone to join every day. The only downside to this trip was the seaweed build up on the beach, this was not a good season to go as all we could smell was like rotting fish and septic smell. Other than that we all absolutely fell in love with this place. We were not ready to leave, we will definitely be going back. First off the road conditions leading to the resort are true, they are very bumpy but not the resort's fault. Staff and service of very friendly and efficient upon arrival along with a smooth and easy check-in. Resort upon our check-in seem to be about maybe up to half full for the resort. The staff throughout the entire Resort are very friendly, helpful and their to make your stay more enjoyable. The kids club area is great with many activities for kids and areas to play in along with scheduled activities by the staff. The pools are well-kept especially the kids area where our children love to play and stay there for many hours. The buffet was great with many options and above average food and we were very surprised at how well everything was cooked. The rodeo grill restaurant was also good nothing extremely special but above average as well. The Italian restaurant on property at very good pasta also above average, but stay away from the pizza as it is the same as they had in the buffet and was nothing special. Alcoholic drinks were hit or miss, Butler tolerable with some good drinks made here and there. Is it all Mexican Resorts I found consistency is a big factor when visiting and having drinks. This Resort is very good for family especially with children under 13 years old. Put some older kids would enjoy it as well. If we were traveling as a couple we probably would not stay here for a romantic getaway. But there are adults only areas if you would just like to sit and relax as I was fairly quiet on that side of the resort. But all in all I would visit again for a family trip, our kids would like to visit again as well as yours would like it too.
