Sentido Michelizia Tropea Resort

Our stay at Hotel Sentido Michelizia was truly unforgettable. Nestled in the heart of Tropea, the location offers breathtaking views and easy access to the town’s charm but what made this experience truly outstanding was the warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality of the staff. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like family. Every team member went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and cared for, from thoughtful recommendations to spontaneous acts of kindness that made all the difference. Their attentiveness, professionalism, and warm smiles turned a beautiful hotel stay into a heartfelt memory. The rooms were spotless and elegant, the breakfast fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere serene, but it’s the people who make this place shine. We have just returned after a week at this hotel. The pool and grounds of the hotel are well maintained and there was always sun beds available. The pool was lovely. They offer transfer services to the town and the beach but the hotel is close to the town so we usually walked in. We were disappointed with the premium room we booked. There was mould in the shower and the shower head was missing several rubber filters so the water poured heavily instead of flowing. We were half board and while each night, there was a different fish and meat option, we did not think the quality of the food was very good. The fresh pasta was excellent but the deserts were not varied. Likewise, with breakfast, there was no variation of fruit , it was always water melon and pineapple.

We really enjoyed our time at this resort and it was amazing. The area is beautiful and also the pool area is lovely. The only issue is that it isn't child friendly at all, 2 pools without a part for children to enjoy because it is deep straight away, no children activities and our room wasn't safe because we had to put a sofa in front of the stairs so our daughter doesn't go there. We also had to ask for our floors to be cleaned when we arrived because they were filthy. The service was great and also very they were helpful.
