Not Recommended – Outdated Hotel with Serious Issues This hotel is extremely outdated and poorly maintained. The reception area already gives a bad first impression, with clutter, boxes, and visible trash behind the front desk. The staff at the reception do not speak English, which makes communication quite difficult. The rooms are not up to date – worn-out furniture and bathrooms with broken or poorly fixed fixtures make for an uncomfortable stay. Most concerning were the repeated power outages during our stay. At one point, the entire hotel lost electricity for three hours in the middle of the night – no elevator, no air conditioning, no lights. Guest safety clearly does not seem to be a priority here. All in all, I cannot recommend this hotel. It lacks basic maintenance and fails to meet even minimal safety standards.

Terrible service for a high price. We booked a room for 6 people but there were not enough beds or towels. Found a family of cockroaches in the bathroom. A lot of foods in breakfast were expired. Construction going on so was always noisy. Manager did not listen to our complaints.

We booked there to have a weekend trip to visit Shenzhen with friends. The room is spacious but the description was not accurate as it mentioned a room for 6 people when we booked and found out on arrival that it's actually a 5 person accommodation + extra fee of 200 rmb to add a bed ! Icing on the cake, there were only 4 towels sets for 6 people. The staff don't speak English, so we managed to talk to a manager (an Indian guy) : impossible to cancel and get refund and no compensation for their mistake but instead they rejected the fault on booking.com. The hotel was not full they could have given us another room as a commercial gesture but instead charged us more for the extra bed. Very bad experience and service, especially regarding the price that is quite high for Shenzhen. I don't recommend this hotel, they won't help you if there is any issue.
