Senza Grand Santana Hotel

We stayed at Hotel Senza Grand Santana in Mahmutlar for 10 days and had a fantastic time! From the start, the check-in was smooth and professional, and we even got a welcome gift with a platter of fruits and a bottle of wine, which was a nice surprise. The cleanliness of the hotel was spot on. Our room was cleaned daily, and the housekeeper even made regularly beautiful decorations with flowers on our bed. The food was another highlight – absolutely delicious! The restaurant had a great variety, and the cakes were to die for. Even the bistro exceeded our expectations with beautifully presented tasty dishes like kebab and tuna salad. The beach area was clean and well-maintained, and the bar had all the basic drinks you’d need. The views were amazing. What really made the stay special was the staff. Everyone we encountered – from the restaurant, to the bistro, housekeeping, and the beach – was incredibly professional and friendly. They were always ready to help and we often had small chats with them, which made us feel genuinely welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Great experience at the hotel. Stayed for 5 nights. Hotel is very clean and the spa is one of the best I've been to. Staff are friendly and always on hand to help with bags, push chair etc. Pool area is nice and so is the private beach area. Sadly they lost 1star for the food. If it wasn't for the bistro restaurant, we probably would have eaten out. The main restaurant food is not always fresh and lacks simple expected items like chips, pastas, fruit, ice cream and choice of drinks. Still plenty of choice so you manage to find something you like. I've had better experiences elsewhere, but overall good place.

Firstly the food was awful and being a vegetarian there was no option but salad in the main restaurant. I had even spoken to the head waiter and explained that I was a veggie and could they do something hot for me, he said that he would and I got cold pasta with cold tomato sauce. Secondly the drinks were disappointing as all were the cheap and tasteless. Thirdly the entertainment was absolutely atrocious. Same playlist each night and the entertainment team were not very professional or engaged with their guests. One guy even hit on a friend I had made there which I think is out of order. Rooms were not all that either but on a positive note the spa and massage place was exceptional. The boss there Denis a true gentleman looked after us . I had my micro blading done at the hotel and the lady who they asked to come to do this made me feel very uncomfortable as originally I only went for permanent eyeliner but then she said my eyebrows were no good I stupidly had this done with the eyeliner and had to go back twice as was not satisfied with the job. The men there in the hairdresser were lovely and yet again Denis the spa manager helped me out. I will not be returning to this hotel as definitely not a 5* and to top it off they do not offer to take your luggage down as leaving. First time I have experienced this. Also the distance from the airport to hotel is 3 hrs not 1 hour as we were told. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone as 99%of the people we met all said exactly the same. Food rubbish drinks rubbish service rubbish and no ice cream would you believe. Also entertainment was not worth it!!
