Sercotel Amister Art Hotel

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The service was excellent, and all the staff were polite, friendly, and very helpful. A special mention goes to Tim from the night shift — he was exceptionally courteous, humorous, and always willing to help. We had some lovely and relaxed conversations with him, which really made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a great experience, and we truly appreciated the warm hospitality.

The service at the front desk by Rachel was superb. She is clearly first-rate at her job. We heard her helping another guest who had left his phone in the cab with the utmost care and professionalism. The room was clean, looked out onto the street, and quiet. I thought the shower design was a bit unmodern, with a half-door. The bathroom was very grey. I think the exterior halls of the hotel and the lobby should be redesigned. They really bring down the value and ambience of the hotel. Comfortable bed. Pet-friendly, which we needed. I enjoyed the free fruit water in the lobby, but the free coffee in the machine was the worst I have ever tasted in my life. I took one sip and had to throw it away. They had low capacities at the time with staff, so a late checkout was not possible for us. Other than this, perfectly good for one night added on to our trip but I would not have enjoyed staying more because of the area the hotel is in and the aforementioned poor aesthetics of the hotel.

Clean, airy, friendly staff. We asked to have our safe fixed, and in a full week, it wasn’t fixed. They say they have a swimming pool. About 6 feet long, 2 feet deep. A pool to soak your feet. They have breakfast, a very limited room service, and few few mini-bar choices.
