Sercotel Granada Suites

Nice hotel and location. Worked out well for our family of four. Two teenage kids shared foldout sofa which wasn’t the most comfortable but worked for two nights. Rooftop pool is nice way to cool off after exploring town. Staff were polite and searched for/found sewing kit for emergency repair. Would recommend if you get a good deal.

Great accommodations! Our room was very comfortable and better accommodations than either the Hilton Diagonal Mar we stayed in Barcelona or the Crown Plaza in Madrid we stayed at during our trip for about 1/3 the price of each. The hotel is very well located within walking distance to Al Alhambra and located in a shopping plaza with many restaurants, bars, and a vibrant night life. The small kitchenette in the room was sufficiently equipped to cook a couple of meals and save some money on eating out. This was our favorite hotel of our trip. The hardest part of the location is navigating to the hotel. You have to be ready drive down some very narrow one way streets that are not clearly marked and in some cases walking paths that say authorized vehicles only. Hotel guests vehicles are authorized on the 1st and last day of stay. The hotel has arrangements with parking garages within 5 mins walk. We parked our car for the stay and just walked everywhere.

Apartments with a small kitchenette and a very spacious bathroom. Very helpful staff for check in and questions about the city. While you can hear the street outside, the hotel is located in a side street with little traffic. It's still very close to the center and there are plenty of restaurants, bars and shops around so you can choose if you want to dine in or out. If you want to cook in the apartment, remember that it comes with all the utensils but no basic ingredients and we had trouble finding the necessities in small enough quantities to not have a lot left over after a one week stay.
