Serenity Diamond Beach

Beautiful place, most definitely coming back only this time for a week. Most relaxing, no noise, very clean. Highly recommend 👌 Thank you we had a dream stay.

We stayed at Serenity at Diamond Beach enroute from Surfers Paradise to Sydney (home). We were there for three nights. There are many negative reviews but we had no issues. It was very quite (March) & we were surprised that there was no restaurant nearby so we had to drive over 6km. Car parking had no cover or shade but this was not a problem.

Avoid at All Costs!!!! We recently stayed at this property, and it was by far the worst accommodation we've ever experienced. The place was dirty, outdated and incredibly unpleasant. Mould in the bathroom sink, soap scum on the walls and what looked like smelly old lettuce in the laundry sink from a previous tenant! It was disgusting. The microwave not cleaned, the list could go on. Furniture was falling apart and the so-called lounge was an outdoor plastic lounge set awkwardly placed indoors. We felt so uncomfortable the entire time we were there and genuinely wanted to leave. Considering we paid almost $600 a night, this was unacceptable. The property is in desperate need of serious maintenance and upkeep. While we did speak to reception about our concerns, all they offered was a free dinner—hardly compensation for such a disappointing stay. Save your money and your "Serenity"; stay elsewhere.
