Serenity Suites

A very well run little modern complex with private parking only a short walk ( 2 streets) from the port and the beach. Supermarket, greengrocers, bakery and taverna just around the corner. Rooms cleaned daily.

Overall a 3/5! Don't get me wrong, the place was beautiful and the vibe it gives is a exactly what a couple is looking for. It is very instagramable and you are extremely close to everything in the area. The rooms are clean and aesthetically pleasing. On the other hand, the two stars that they missed out on were for the bad odor that the room had and came from the bathroom's piping. The area in general has a septic issue and all establishments (as I understood) have this issue, all in different levels. The worst thing about my experience with this establishment was the constant noise. It could have been the construction workers just the area, their housekeeping staff that were extremely loud, or the 100 different things that were going on at the same time due to the hotel being in a busy area. It was not a "relaxing experience" at all. Overall, if they manage their staff a bit better to reduce their noise levels, invest in better sound blocking materials, and find a way to not have the rooms smell bad, the place is great and has a lot of potential. I would recommend this place for a young couple.

I’ve been coming here for the past 4-5 years every summer, as this place was the definition of quiet and serene environment. UNFORTUNATELY Serenity Suites doesn’t mean that anymore and they would rather host a bachelor or wedding reception every night. I was woken up in the middle of the night on three different nights, and during the day I couldn’t enjoy the pool as I didn’t feel comfortable swimming while being filmed and having 20+ people around the pool dressed for a wedding. After letting the reception know that I can’t sleep and I had to stay awake between 2-4 AM, all they could say was “sorry”. I even replied to one of their emails telling them all this, and they didn’t even reply to it. Clearly I am not a valued customer and they don’t care even about loyal customers. This is the last time I’m coming here, or recommending this place to other people, and I hope they change something for the future as I think they will loose all their customers if they keep going forward like this….
