Great hotel. Rooms are compact and just enough but that's cos it's Paris and so understandable Location is awesome. Visited in August. So, not lot of crowd in the niegborhood, v pleasant streets, amazing cafes and restos nearby. Perfect after a busy touristy day to come to a calm location.
Hotel Serotel Lutece was a dream hotel! We could not have asked for a better hotel and we still have fond memories of staying there. We stayed for three nights and were treated superbly. We were greeted by Joao who checked us in and he took care of everything! He is truly a gem with his attentiveness to providing excellent customer service and having a wide range of knowledge about a variety of things (like history!). It was absolutely fun talking with him. He is multi-lingual and flows in and out of languages effortlessly. He made our stay even more enjoyable! We hope to see him again! The breakfast is out of this world! We were in awe at the selection provided and the absolute freshness of each item. We looked forward to starting our day off with a filling meal. The mini pain au chocolat were perfect! Our room had a balcony and it was a joy to look outside and enjoy the scenery. A plus was that we also had AC, which we were not expecting. Another plus was that we were in the vibrant Latin quarter and a few blocks down had dozens of restaurants and shops (Alberto gelateria has the best glacé, Savannah Cafe is fun and has great food and Creperia Oroyona has delicious crepes!). Everyone at the hotel offered great hospitality and we will absolutely stay here again!!
Just here for a short stay. The hotel is lovely, the employees are extremely friendly and helpful. We were lucky to have a room overlooking the courtyard and you would think we were in the middle of nowhere, it was so quiet. Excellent shower, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was a simple continental offering. For some bizarre reason, that remains a mystery, there were no lids for the teapots. Other than that, it is a very pleasant place to stay, lovely restaurants nearby and 20 min walk from Notre Dame, Shakespeare & Co, and only a little further to the Louvre.
