Sesmarias Turismo Rural & SPA

The utmost peaceful place to be! Staff is amazing, starting with the very welcoming Sergio that did it all to make our stay as pleasant as it could be and ending with Olga and Ema that made our meals a true experience. The atmosphere is so relaxing, whether we were at the sun-beds by the pool or with a glass of wine enjoying the sunset! Rooms are very clean, cosy and comfortable! Night sky is absolutely beautiful as it’s far enough from the city to be able to see shooting stars and even meteors! Second year we’ve been at Sesmarias and we’re definitely getting back next year!

Our recent stay at Herdade das Sesmarias Rural Tourism & SPA was an absolute delight. The hotel is nestled in a truly idyllic location, surrounded by beautiful olive groves. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. A real highlight was our dinner – a wonderful four-course meal where the chef surprised us with delicious, freshly prepared dishes based on what was available that day. The hotel is very accommodating for families, and it was fantastic to be able to borrow bikes for free to cycle around the farm and see the mules, cows, and goats. It has a lovely, family-friendly feel and is clearly a popular choice for those with children. We would highly recommend it!

Great stay! The hostess was amazing and did more than just her best to make our stay as good as it was! The rooms were equipped with all necessary items and the bed was comfortable! The surroundings give a very peaceful experience and the food provided by the resort will leave you exceedingly satisfied! Would definitely come back!
