Amazing hotel. Great view from the windows. There are many wonderful little things in the hotel. From the design of the lobby to the wonderful breakfast. I was amazed by several things, I have never seen such clean glass in the windows in my life. Nothing prevents you from enjoying the view! There is a wonderful tea set in the room. There are even robes in the closet.Satin bed linen and an incredibly comfortable mattress allow you to enjoy sleep and truly relax. This is the least that this hotel has.

We absolutely love Seven Gables! Its location is perfect, overlooking the bay, featuring classic architecture and stunning views. Service is phenomenal (Shout out to Claudia!). Rooms are clean, well kept, and well appointed, each with its own distinct character. The attention to detail is incredible. Our room (The Stevenson Suite) was rather small, but completely exceeded our expectations. We will most certainly return to Seven Gables.

Beautiful Property, But Disappointing Hospitality The location and setting of Seven Gables Inn are undeniably stunning—serene ocean views, peaceful surroundings, and a beautifully maintained Victorian-style property that feels like a step back in time. However, our experience with the staff left a lot to be desired. Over the course of our three-day stay, every interaction with the front desk was cold and unwelcoming. None of the receptionists greeted us with a smile or made any effort to be friendly or accommodating. It was especially disheartening considering the high price point and the fact that this is a hospitality business. A particularly upsetting incident occurred when I cut my foot on a sharp edge of a Victorian side table in the lobby. It was bleeding quite a bit, and when I asked for help, the receptionist simply told me they didn’t have any band-aids—offering no concern or assistance. Upon checkout, we were asked to drop our keys without even a simple thank-you or goodbye. For a boutique inn that markets itself on charm and service, this level of disengagement was disappointing. While we were aware there wouldn’t be daily housekeeping, the lack of warmth or effort from the staff throughout our stay made the experience feel impersonal and uninviting. Unfortunately, I’d rate the service experience below a 1. Later the “Operations Manager” of the property called us multiple times taking up a significant amount of our time to discuss ways they could improve. She mentioned a potential refund for our inconvenience, but ultimately never followed through with any offer. It felt like a complete waste of time with no resolution and no apology! This interaction having to relive the incident through her calls was even more frustrating. She was annoying! So to sum up, we will NOT recommend the place!
