We visited Seven Villa Hotel and Spa in Sandton for their breakfast buffet as a special treat for our anniversary — and although we weren’t staying at the hotel, the experience exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel like VIP guests. Clinton went above and beyond to make the morning incredibly special. We were spoiled with thoughtful surprises: spa vouchers, complimentary mimosas, beautifully plated anniversary desserts, and even a bottle of champagne! The level of care and hospitality was truly exceptional. The breakfast buffet itself was delicious, with a great selection and beautifully presented options. The atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed — perfect for a celebration or just a luxurious start to your day. We left feeling celebrated, appreciated, and completely pampered. We’ll definitely be back — and next time, we’ll be booking a full stay!

As a business owner with a keen eye for customer experience, I'm shocked by the Seven hotel's abysmal service. I called to confirm a simple detail (bath in the room, yes or no?) and was quoted a price discrepancy that raised red flags. When I politely pointed it out, the representative's response was dismissive and abrupt - and then she hung up. My follow-up call to express disappointment was met with a convenient "manager unavailable" excuse. Given my experience with top-tier hotels globally, this lack of service and accountability is staggering. What's more concerning is that I was poised to become a repeat customer, having mentioned our company's expansion plans in Johannesburg. Instead, the hotel's arrogance and complacency sealed the deal - we're definitely not booking here. The consistent criticism of the front desk in other reviews is telling. In today's competitive hospitality landscape, it's marketing 101: customer service is key. The Seven hotel's failure to grasp this fundamental principle is a major misstep.
