Shangri La Fuzhou

We loved our stay here. The rooms and the staff were all really great. And it’s a good location for exploring the city. And the breakfast buffet was fantastic.

I'm glad I chose Shangri-La Fuzhou to celebrate my birthday instead of an IHG hotel, even though I would have been entitled to a complimentary upgrade with them. This stay provided me with an extraordinary experience where I truly felt like a valued guest. The hotel is centrally and conveniently located, with major attractions within easy reach. Adjacent to a modern arcade filled with restaurants, it offers ample entertainment options; even without sightseeing, staying at this hotel would not feel boring. Due to a ventilation issue, Mr. Jacky Wang promptly upgraded us to a suite to ensure a pleasant stay, which I deeply appreciated. I was especially impressed by Jasmine, the manager of Jiangnan Wok · Rong, the hotel's Chinese restaurant. Her thoughtful response to my table reservation and her unique touch of warmth and hospitality made a lasting impression. Every dish we ordered was not only delicious but of such exceptional quality that they were deserving of Michelin recognition. Thanks to Jasmine, my birthday celebration was both memorable and truly delightful.

I recently stayed at the Fuzhou Shangri-La and had a mostly positive experience. Here’s a breakdown of my stay: Pros: 1. Excellent Location: The hotel is centrally located, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city. Whether you're here for business or leisure, you’ll find it easy to access key attractions, shopping areas, and dining options. 2. Spacious Rooms: The rooms are impressively large, offering plenty of space to relax and unwind. The layout is comfortable, and the beds are cozy, ensuring a good night’s sleep. 3. Exceptional Housekeeping: The housekeeping staff deserves a special mention. They were thorough, attentive, and ensured that the room was spotless throughout my stay. 4. Cleanliness: The entire hotel, including the rooms and common areas, was impeccably clean. It’s clear that the staff takes great pride in maintaining high hygiene standards. 5. Quality Amenities: The in-room amenities were a pleasant surprise. The shampoo, body wash, and other toiletries were of excellent quality, adding a touch of luxury to the stay. Cons: 1. Outdated Furniture: While the rooms are spacious and clean, the furniture feels a bit dated. Modernizing the decor and furnishings would significantly enhance the overall ambiance and comfort. Conclusion: Overall, the Fuzhou Shangri-La offers a comfortable and convenient stay with its prime location, spacious rooms, and top-notch service. While the furniture could use an update, the cleanliness, housekeeping, and quality amenities more than make up for it. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Fuzhou.
