Shangri La Gardens

Stayed at the Shangri-La for the first time and was thoroughly impressed. The room was spacious, spotless, and the bed incredibly cozy. The location is peaceful yet super convenient — just a short walk to shops, restaurants, and everything you might need. Highly recommend this place for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

I was pleasantly surprised with the spaciousness of the room, the modern facilities and the cleanliness. Only suggestion to upgrade would be to replace the shower head with a detachable fitting. Location okay for a business trip, but would be great for a vacation stay. Would recommend.

The front desk staff was very nice upon checking in The motel however did not meet my expectations as we have stayed at Shangri-La Sydney and Melbourne and they were amazing so I was expecting amazing, but got an old and tired facility. The room smelled of old musty cigarette smoke, the furniture was very dated as was the bathroom, not sure where the photos online came from but definitely wasn’t the room we stayed in! The mattress on the bed needed to be updated as it was very springy, not a pleasant sleep at all. Was greeted with badly stained carpet upon walking into our room (room 1) Rooms are outside so had to walk through the rain dragging luggage so wasn’t an ideal situation. Had a good location close to shops. I needed ice to keep medication cold while travelling but they do not have any, suggested I go to service station but I didn’t need 5kg of ice. I wouldn’t probably ever pick the place to stay at again unfortunately,,,
